Within the New Pentecost

"Then afterward, I will pour out my Spirit upon all mankind. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions even upon the servants and the Handmaids, in those days, I will pour out my Spirit" (Joel 3, 1-2).

Anointed by the Holy Spirit

(JPEG) The Community of the Beatitudes was born within the movement of the Charismatic Renewal. This time is marked by a strong outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all the people of God: Like during the first descent of the holy Spirit upon the Apostles, that new Pentecost led us to a life in a Community and to work for Evangelization. Welcoming the charisms and gifts that the Holy Spirit gives to renew the Church is a main feature of the life of the Community.

Intended for evangelization, the charisms become a powerful spiritual weapon for Christians facing the blindness of man and passivity of the world. God makes these precious gifts to man to show him concretely his tenderness and love.

(JPEG) The life in the Community of the Beatitudes demands a willing opening to the life in the Holy Spirit including the practice of spontaneous prayer, free praise to the Lord, charisms (gifts of the Holy Spirit as described in 1Co12-14) for the Evangelization and the building of the whole Church.

In our evangelization mission we used to pray that the Lord does healing among his people.
