Searching the mystery of the Church, the Council recalls the link which spiritually connects the people of the New Testament with the descendants of Abraham (Nostra Aetate).
The interest granted by the Community of the Beatitudes to the Jewish roots of our faith, gives a specific place for prayer for and with the Jewish people, either by learning Hebrew, studying Judaism, or discovering the chosen people in Israel.
The Community is also associated to the prayer of the chosen people. On Friday night, we celebrate a family prayer on the model of the prayer of the entrance in Shabbat.
If the Church announces the Kingdom of God, Israel recalls us that the messianic promises are not yet completely fulfilled. So together, we are waiting for the celestial Jerusalem.
The Community prays intensely for this day when God will be all in all,Jews and non-Jews together.
